I’m seldom at a loss for poignant, pedantic pontification, (or alliteration it would seem), and as an advocate of the op-ed and, more recently, the blog, I have decided to throw my two cents into the crowded cyber ring, with the hope that, note-in-a-bottle-like, my thoughts may wash up on some distant consciousness and the seeds of my wisdom could sprout and save the planet.  Or, I thought, in less omniscient terms, wouldn’t it be cool to have my words bounced back by some demented mass emailer.  Either way, I don’t sleep much and I take lots of long train rides, so...
