Who can BLOG in weather like this?  I was slip-sliding up the walkway last night, doing that hunch-shouldered shivering thing, the tips of my ears burning, my nose dripping across my lips and freezing on my chin and, of course, really, really having to pee.  Later, when my bladder was empty and the first of my dermal sensations began creeping back to their dry and scaly January state of normality, it became apparent, by my failed attempt at successfully forming any intelligible sounds that might have been perceived of as communication, that the few lines I had scribbled down for this week’s BLOG, would not soon be joined by others.  These circumstances plus the lack of communication from the tower regarding de-icing or departure gate have resulted in this BLOG being cancelled.*
