Gender

Men and women are different.  Men, for instance, are better at opening pesky jar lids, while women are better at, well, other stuff.  Most men would rather look at women, although they spend countless hours staring at and rooting for super-sized, testosterone-infused male athletes and action heroes.  Women, when they’re not watching their kids, can too often be found watching panels of other women all talking about something, (I can only assume it’s something), all at the same time.  I think women, in general, are smarter and statistically live longer.  Men are hairier, but not always in the most attractive places.  Female voices are usually higher and women have that absolutely real, (though scientifically unproven), intuition thing.  Men are more likely to fart in public, while in reality I think this may be genderly neutral.  Somebody apparently counted, and there are more women than men.  As for consensual sex, men may have stronger urges, but women control the when and the how and it sadly seldom works out in the loving way that the term ‘love-making’ would imply.  Most holy books, (some Wicken texts would be the exception), cast women in a subservient light and men have held on to this part of religious dogma with greater zeal than say, fatted calf sacrifice or that doing unto others deal.  Women whine too much…OK, men whine too much too.  It’s just, I don’t know what they want.  Not that any man has ever come close to figuring out the age old conundrum, but I can tell you this, the equal pay thing is not the key.  I’m certainly for equal pay for men and women, I don’t know why that’s even an issue, but there are many, more fundamentally important differences that should take precedence.

I was going to list them here, but in a rare moment of enlightenment, I realized that shooting myself in the foot or even three feet higher, might ultimately be less painful.
