The tick or the tock is definitely broken.  I swear I was just ranting away, I blinked, my butt’s a little sore and a week simply disappeared.  I know it’s not just me.  Friends, even people I hardly know, have shared similar stories of unnatural accelerations in the space/time continuum.  I’m not saying conspiracy, espionage or extraterrestrial probing, but I’m sure there’s supposed to be some sense of the “going by” part and that’s happening less and less.
