I have a vague recollection of mid terms in high school, and what I recall is that I didn’t give them much thought.  So, here we are, less than a month away from the off-year elections, complacent, confused, (have you noticed that candidates don’t even identify their party affiliation in their ads any more?), and unprepared to make a choice, if, in fact, we show up to make one at all.  The campaigns are mostly negative, the debates are inane, every spun response and blatant fabrication is bought and paid for by an anonymous Super Pac and the only passion for any button issue is anger.

I guess we did learn something in high school after all.
