The Good News

I know, I know…I have a mild tendency to see the flaws in…well, just about everything.  Most gasp in awe at the multi-colored splendor of autumn while I, although equally aware of Nature’s incomparable beauty, can’t separate from the knowledge that it is, in fact, the decay of the foliage that’s responsible for it all.  So, as an exercise, and because, ever the optimist, “World Peace” is the candle wish I’ve made over every birthday cake as long as I can remember, I’ve been making an effort to seek out, share and embrace good news, wherever I might find it.

Here’s what I’ve got:

  • We don’t, (except for any of you who do), live in The Philippines
  • The remake of The Jungle Book did not suck…at all
  • We don’t, (same disclaimer), live in Syria, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Angola, Somalia, Haiti or Mississippi
  • Hamilton
  • Ariana Gillis…if you know, you know what I mean…if you don’t, you should use the Google
  • No more elephants at the circus

Seems like enough, right?  I’m exhausted.
