I understand that there is little chance that an actual Trump supporter would ever be reading this, (the literacy thing aside), but on the wild chance…

I get your frustration with the status quo.  Government is inefficient, wasteful and too often unresponsive to the issues that seem important to the average citizen.  It needs to get better…much, much better.  However, what is fundamentally wrong with government, at every turn, is the grip of special interests that have little concern for the common good.  Whether historically pork-filled budgets, shameful concessions to the lobbying of insurers, drug manufacturers, planet-choking energy companies and gun-wielding lunatics or knuckling under to religious morality that, by the way, is constitutionally guaranteed to be held separate from public policy, most of the things you rail against are, ironically, the things your chosen candidate stands for.  His life has been one of profit at any, (cheating, lying, out-sourcing), cost.  He has been boastingly devoid of altruism.  His hot-button issues of lost jobs and military ineptitude and the threat of rampant, uncontrolled illegal immigration are neither supported by facts nor does he offer any, (other than his cockamamie wall that he somehow hopes to cash in on the construction of), specific policy or program to make us richer or safer.  He is uneducated and uninformed, two qualities whose opposites should, if they aren’t already, be in the job description for President of the United States.  He does not care about you because all of his energy goes to caring about himself.

There’s much to dislike and distrust about Hilary Clinton.  We need way better candidates, certainly for most Senate and Congressional seats and most definitely for President, but she is highly intelligent, competent and a compassionate patriot.  Donald Trump tears at the very fabric of the things that are best about our country.  He is a snake oil salesman, a con man, a false wizard and I am here to draw back the curtain for you before you make the terrible, final decision to buy into his bullshit.  And…I know many of you might be bored by history and you may be confused by that crazy Republican mythology about how great the Reagan Era was, but you and me, hard-working people who just want a good job and a chance for a decent life, have always done better, way, way better, (although not perfect by any stretch), when Democratic policies are in place.  It’s the deregulating, profit-above-all-else Republicans who have stolen your jobs…not the Chinese or the Mexicans.  Donald Trump wants to steal your future.
