On Friday, President Bonehead slipped into his cleanest Leader-of-the-Free-World underwear, trotted out to the White House Rose Garden and announced that he had finally made a deal to end the government shut-down. He blah-blah-blahed, told a few lies and left the National Disaster card on the table in case he doesn’t get wall-funding during the three-week Continuing Resolution. He made no mention of the fact that the only deal actually made was his caving without one cent for his most ridiculous campaign promise.
One day earlier, on Thursday, Senator Michael Bennett, (Democrat from Colorado), responded to Senator Ted Cruz’s, (Republican from Hell), shameless, public kissing of Donald Trump’s gigantic ass. No one has yet polled the fourteen CSPAN watchers for their reaction, but it has made its way to YouTube and deserves a Mr. Deedsmoment for its heartfelt, intelligent and 100% truthful plea to save our Democracy.
