You started it…and I mean that in an historically positive, way-to-go context.  You put down the Confederate uprising, led the fight against slavery and the move toward civil rights, Republican policies nudged the fall of the Soviet Union and time-after-time your forerunners drafted legislation and worked hand-in-hand with their Democratic colleagues to benefit all Americans to move the country forward.  What the fuck happened to you?  You must realize that future headlines and any contingent content of your histories will be that you unconscionably stood by, abandoned honesty, decency, common sense and your sworn civic duty, to bend a knee to a heinous, dangerous buffoon. To what end?  What is the upside to your submissive behavior?  He’s not your guy.  He’s not anybody’s guy.  His reckless, willy-nilly improvisational performance as Pretender-in-Chief is, every day you empower him, chipping away at the moorings of our fragile Republic, and you, Lindsey and Mitch and Rod, all of you cow-towing cowards will bear the brutal burden of 20/20 hindsight as the co-conspirators of the Death of Our Nation.  Snap out of it!  This isn’t an US v. THEM thing.  It’s a WE THE PEOPLE thing.
