Pardon?

Ponder this.  There are people, thousands of people, languishing in American prisons for offenses, though illegal and punishable by some legislated statute or other, that are neither dangerous to nor a remedy for their effect on society.  Many, many, many should never have been prosecuted.  Many more should have been addressed in more productive ways and too many others were wrongfully charged and woefully defended.  Lives of potentially productive, (under more equitable circumstances), men and women and their parents, wives, husbands and children, disrupted and often destroyed.  Few are given any leniency and fewer still are pardoned, even with cause.  But a big, fat, career criminal, who cheats his way into the Oval Office and spends four years openly plotting and Executively Ordering the destruction of the country he swore to serve…that asshole gets a pardon?  Who thinks that’s a fair deal?  Uhhh…you 70,000,000 people put your stupid, fucking hands down!
