The Republican National Committee set aside a bit of time this week from censuring Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger to pass a resolution or profess, as part of their manifesto, that those who stormed the Capital Building on January 6th, intent on killing members of Congress and Vice President Pence, in their failed attempt to stop the certification of duly elected Joseph Biden as the 46th President of the United States, were exercising “legitimate political discourse”.
