Yeah, I know…but there’s an awful lot of it going around these days and it’s just, well…stupid.  Our criminally rampaging ex-President is stupid.  So, was 43, but W wasn’t despicable, however, and stupid and despicable is way more troubling than merely being vacuously incompetent.  The kind of stupid that has our country teetering for its balance is Ron DeSantis and Jim Jordan, Lindsey Graham and Kevin McCarthy “stoopid”.  Without any agenda, other than destroying their perceived political rivals, they are devoting time and energy to the task of making America a hate-based hell hole that even they would never choose to live in.  It’s stupid to think that smart is bad and making it the cornerstone of a campaign, (Ron), is so, so stupid it should be disqualifying.  The global tidal wave of stupidity that seems to be engulfing the planet must have something akin to the weird comfort of lying in the warm, wet spot, because there seems to be little movement toward enlightenment or, minimally, any effort to at least get up and deal with the soiled sheets.
