I expect absolutely nothing from Congress, so why would I even care or comment on the Republican’s latest blustering bullshit display of governance?…because if I simply try to ignore it, my head might explode.

On Friday, facing an eminent financial government shutdown, (aren’t these weekly occurrences now?), frankly, due to Congressional inactivity since the last eminent financial government shutdown, team Boehner decided to dismantle the food stamp program as a bargaining chip to repeal Obamacare, (for the forty-first time), and send this bill, facetiously intended for the welfare of their constituents, on to the Senate where it will, of course, die and therefore, like everything else on their obstructionist agenda, fall onto the ever-growing pile of meaningless legislation, (run-on sentences relieve the pressure in my head).

I would call out loudly once more for someone, anyone, to hold the feet of the oh-so-lost Republican House to the fire, but Americans are mostly concerned about gun rights, (even for the blind), scandalous NASCAR spin-outs and our unfettered access to an unlimited supply of sugary treats, all of which serve no one’s greater good, so…what’s the point?
