Thanks

Thanks, really, to, well, to everyone and everything whom and what have cosmically combined to place me in this comfy chair at this particular moment in time.  I am mostly grateful and well aware of being among the lucky ones whose travails pale in comparison to my personal piece of the universal pie, much of which is simply the result of happenstance.  If I seem disgruntled, (wearing my gruntliness on my sleeve), it’s rarely in response to feeling slighted or mistreated, but rather an inbred intolerance to the general and blatant thanklessness of others.  I don’t feel holier than anyone in this regard, in fact, I believe that most practiced holiness is, on balance, sorely lacking in common, passionate benevolence.  However, I am compelled, (have you noticed), to lash out against anyone who subscribes to any platform that minimizes or disregards the wellbeing of any group or individual as a matter of dogma, expediency or calculated policy.  To me, the worst of human nature is the historical algorithmic relationship:

Me:You

Having:Having Less

I don’t expect to convert one riotous Walmart shopper or turn a single Congressional head, but if I’ve moved the ratio a tick away from the dark side by instilling my values on my daughter and grandkids, well, that’s pretty cool, right?
