Politics aside, take this as a public safety warning that you are all barely six months away from shooting yourselves in the foot…or the other foot in many cases.  Since the majority of you are still reluctant to list bigotry as a primary motivator, let’s stick with the economy/jobs mantra that the whiz-kid business genius has promised to magically evoke into opportunity and wealth for all.  Your former Supreme Leader, Ronnie, (more Trump-like than you might imagine at first glance), used his polar-opposite demeanor to gain the country’s trust as his policies of wholesale deregulation and trickle-down, voodoo economics plunged us into a spirit sucking abyss that killed the middle class, sold our government to the highest bidders and set us on a path for making our planet uninhabitable.  All that warm fuzziness, that those of you old enough may think you remember from that era, never really existed, and after twenty years of a steady decline in income and security and influence, we are once again poised to drink the Kool-Aid® of a lunatic who wants to give even more to the insanely rich, (of which, he loves to remind us, he is one).

This would be the part where I might try to convince you of the admirable qualities of the alternative, but I’m not a big fan of Hillary’s.  What can I say, this has been a bazar and shitty, (though somewhat entertaining), election cycle.  I like Bernie and, truthfully, you should too.  His appeal is that he truly believes in the American Dream where we’re all healthy and educated, concerned for our environment and much more equal than we are now.  If you take a deep breath and think about it, accept for being told by the people who have stolen all your money, that it’s unaffordable and job-killing and “socialistic”, there’s no downside, right?  Insurance is unaffordable because insurance company profits, not health care costs, are astronomical.  We are poorly educated because dumb people are easier to manipulate.  Earth’s temperatures are rising and pretending otherwise will not keep Florida from being covered by the ocean.  So, what do you do, vote for the buffoon because he says he’s so great, (while not proposing one real idea that would benefit your life in any way), or, ala Bernie, really revolt against the out of control influence of wealth that has stolen your dreams?
