Often, I think it’s just me, but this time, not so much. I can certainly understand why thirteen plus million people are ready to get in lock, (or goose), step with Herr Trump. Fox News and the NRA and fundamentalist religious dogma have nurtured their fear of facts and inability to reason for decades. But the lunacy of any Republican leader endorsing a candidate that makes W appear Mensa-like in comparison, who has boasted openly of alienating practically everybody, who, if not really a bigot, freely uses incendiary rhetoric to insight those who are and who clearly has no knowledge or understanding of the responsibilities of the job he is seeking, does not compute by any standard of logic, common sense, kindness or the abbreviated rules of Yahtzee®. After eight years of a party platform based solely on obstructionism, without a glimmer of an idea for the betterment of anything, perhaps it’s time for the Republicans to go the way of Ma Bell’s party line.
