I’m exhausted.  I realize that I spend way too much energy trying to make sense out of the senselessness of what’s going on around me, but I really don’t know what to do.  I’m signing petitions, contributing money, going to public forums, (is fora too pretentious), and blogging my ass off, but it’s getting worse.  Trump tweets whatever baseless bullshit that pops into his, (makes me want to puke), head, Ben Carson, (the brainless surgeon), says African slaves were immigrants seeking fame and fortune in America, Mike Pense, (born again and again and again), believes in nothing that’s not written in whatever bible he’s thumping on any particular day, Jason Chafetz thinks, (thinking may be pushing the benefit of the doubt), people are wasting their money on iPhones instead of health care, Paul Ryan couldn’t give a fuck, (steroids have been known to do that to a fella), about anyone’s health care but his own, (which is free, by the way, and includes a very upscale Congressional gym that he spends hours working out in every day), while a host of amoral spin doctors feed Sean Spicer a steady diet of inanity with which he shamelessly engages the press.  Intelligence professionals are routinely attacked or ignored.  Military advisors can’t possibly have confidence in their, (puking again), Commander in Chief.  The justice department has just been purged of every prosecutor who has or may one day consider bringing charges against one or five hundred of Trump’s shady business dealings.  We are being mocked by our allies and manipulated by our enemies and I don’t know how this can be happening.  Donald Trump and his dangerous band of brown shirts are tearing at the very fiber of American democracy at such a haphazard and rapid pace that we may soon be unable to recover.  I’m but a verbose babbler, but there must be somebody, (not being mind-controlled by Vladimir Putin), or some body, (see previous parenthetical insert), that can organize a quick and surgical, (one of those shadowy covert ops agencies on TV must be based on fact), correction to this situation.  What are he, she, they waiting for?
