Hey, Friends,
I spent a good part of the last couple of years working on a very cool project with a host of talented people. The delightful journey of recording the song and video for “Caffe Lena/Where the Music Never Dies”, written by myself and the endlessly talented Peter Davis, is now complete, and I am forever grateful to everyone who participated in front and behind the camera. So, here’s the deal. The video and its message will be an on-going part of the outreach of Caffe Lena, on the website and through both traditional and social media. For the launch, however, I’m asking for your help to create a seismic global event. The combined social media outreach of a potentially viral post like this is…well, everybody in the whole wide world, and tomorrow, Wednesday, May 10 at 2pm EDT, just imagine if we all simultaneously shared the video with all of our peeps and their re-tweeted, reposted peeps, etc., etc., including a short, personal note like:
“Hey, this is Lady Gaga, (I’m not saying she’s on my list…not saying she’s not…this is just an example). Check out this cool video about Caffe Lena, the legendary venue that has continuously provided a stage for voices like Bob Dylan, Arlo Guthrie, Don McClean, Anaïs Mitchell and Sawyer Fredericks for more than 55 years. Sing along and SHARE IT with everyone you know. Join me with artists and fans from around the world with your donation of $1, (or more), to support Caffe Lena…Where the Music Never Dies!”
Please make sure to include me in your blast so I can feel the love of your combined, compelling voices. I will keep you in the loop and especially in my heart.
Here’s the link to the video. Enjoy it in private until tomorrow at 2pm EDT. Then, blast away!
