Ummmmm…

Liar, liar, liar, liar, liar, traitor, traitor, asshole!  It would seem that cyclothymia is a starter affliction for Tourette’s.  If I’m not yelling my opening sentence, (I know, Mrs. Millman*, it’s technically not a sentence), at the TV, or sporadically into thin air, it’s being looped in my brain as a thundering mantra…in Gilbert Gottfried’s voice no less.  We’re so past, “Doesn’t this qualify as going too far?”, that the only hope I’m holding onto is military coup.  He cannot be allowed to continue unapologetically tearing away at the fabric, the principles, the morals and the dreams of our country.  Waiting for a political repopulation of Congress, is a suicidal crapshoot.  He and his enabling henchmen should be dragged through the streets in chains to the dankest, darkest, dingiest inescapable Poe-like pit.  At least, this is the imagined scenario that makes me smile in the midst of all of Gilbert’s shouting.  By every definition, he has committed treason…right, Janet?

*Janet Millman was my 4thGrade English teacher at Noble Elementary School in Detroit, circa 1954…when Michigan still had public education
