Synonyms are fun. Every few weeks there seems to be another popular posting referencing an extensive list of like-meaning words, the ardent sharing of which would indicate copious interest. As a writer/poet/lyricist, I often find delight in a clever synonymic turn of phrase. Topically, however, like trying to find a theme for a weekly blog, it seems a bit ingenuous to repackage the same soapbox rant through an intimate knowledge of the Thesaurus. Yet, passion is passion and I have yet to win over enough of the undecideds to completely abandon my mission. Maybe this:
Democrats: Caring, thoughtful, helpful, compassionate, concerned, loving, sensitive, attentive, sympathetic, empathetic, considerate, benevolent, kindhearted, meditative, introspective
Republicans: Mean, unkind, cruel, callous, uncaring, malicious, despicable, unpleasant, shameful, wretched, parsimonious, ungenerous, measly, miserable, small, fucktards, (that last one has not been added to any published Thesaurus that I am aware of, although I keep nominating it year after year)
This is all admittedly simplistic, but I cannot shy from the obvious and evident truth, perhaps most aptly espoused antonymically…
Good…Evil
Please, please be outraged and fight for Good!
